StockMate respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data when you use StockMate.
1. Data you create in the app
StockMate stores the following data locally on your device:
- Investment portfolio, buy/sell transactions, cost basis, and profit/loss.
- Initial capital, cash balance, and margin information.
- Watchlists, target prices, and notes.
- Investment journal entries and discipline self-assessments.
- App settings and preferences.
This data is stored locally on your device to provide the app’s features.
2. Market data
StockMate may connect to the Internet to retrieve market data, stock prices, and listed-symbol information. These requests are used only to provide in-app market information and are not used to identify you personally.
3. In-app purchases
StockMate Pro is provided through Apple In-App Purchase. Payments, subscription management, and billing information are processed by Apple. StockMate does not receive, store, or access your payment card details or Apple ID billing information.
4. Data sharing
StockMate does not sell, rent, or share your portfolio, transaction, or investment-journal data with third parties.
You may choose to export your data for backup or sharing. You control where exported files are sent and how they are used.
5. Security
You may enable Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to protect access to the app. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your choices
You can edit or delete your data within the app at any time. Deleting the app may remove local data that has not been backed up.
7. Children
StockMate is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary. The latest update date will appear at the top of this page.
