EZ Watermark Privacy Policy

EZ Watermark respects your privacy. This app is designed to let you add text or logo watermarks to photos and videos on your device with a simple, local-first workflow.

Information We Collect

EZ Watermark does not require you to create an account.
EZ Watermark does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or home address unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

The app may access photos, videos, and files only when you explicitly choose media to import, edit, or export. Apple explains that Photo Picker allows users to choose specific photos or videos to share with an app instead of granting broad library access.

How Your Data Is Used

Photos, videos, logos, presets, and exported files are used only to provide the core functionality of EZ Watermark.
If your current implementation is local-only, media processing is performed on your device and your selected files are not uploaded to our servers. This local-only pattern is consistent with privacy-preserving photo tools that process files on device.

Saved presets and app settings are stored locally on your device unless you later add an optional sync feature.

Photos and Files Access

EZ Watermark may request permission to access:

Your photo library, if you choose media from Photos.
Specific files or folders, if you import content from the Files app or Finder on macOS.

The app only uses the media you select. It does not scan or upload your full library unless you explicitly grant broader access through system permissions. Apple notes that users can choose limited access or full access and can change that permission at any time in system settings.

Data Sharing

EZ Watermark does not sell your personal data.
EZ Watermark does not share your photos, videos, or exported files with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes, assuming your app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Apple requires third-party SDK data practices to be disclosed as part of your app’s privacy information.

Data Retention

Because EZ Watermark is designed for local use, your media and presets remain on your device or in locations you choose for export, unless you delete them.
If you contact support by email, we may keep your message only as long as needed to respond and provide support.

Children’s Privacy

EZ Watermark is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the app and its local workflow. However, you are responsible for securing your own device, backups, and exported files.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
